Eggplant, Qi Ye Round

This eggplant grows quickly and is very productive in good soil. The plants generally remain small, making them great for small gardens. With buttery, firm flesh and a mellow flavor, this variety is perfect for grilling or using in your favorite recipe. A Genovese-type purple basil, with large 2-3” turned-down leaves that are nearly black in color. Makes an attractive garnish. Plant is 16-20” tall.
