Boneset is an attractive, easily grown southeastern native perennial. Small creamy white flowers are borne in abundance in late summer. It is an excellent plant to include in butterfly gardens. The handsomely textured leaves of this plant are attractive throughout the growing season. Native Americans used boneset, also known as feverwort, medicinally for a variety of ailments.
